The third edition of the Khelo India Youth Games will take place in Guwahati from January 10-22,2020
Cycling and Lawn Bowls are the two new games that have been added to the list of competing sport events this year.

Dr Jitendra Singh inaugurated a two-day Conference on Ek Bharat Shreshta Bharat and Disaster Management in Jammu.
The Union Minister of State (PP), Dr Jitendra Singh said that all Central laws applicable to other parts of the country will now be applicable to the newly created UTs of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) and Ladakh. He said that there are about 854 such laws which are citizen-friendly and will benefit the common man of J&K and Ladakh, who were previously deprived of it.

The minister signed the bilateral annual Haj 2020 agreement between India and Saudi Arabia with Haj and Umrah Minister of Saudi Arabia Mohammad Saleh bin Taher Benten.
